Day - 19 Chena River SP

We moved to Fairbanks to the Chena River State Park.  We found two nice spots without hook up's but they do have a dump station.  We are right in town close to the airport, but much nicer than the AFB and no airport is going to be louder than the base was this morning with lots of fighter jets taking off.
We set up had lunch and then went looking for the university.  Because we were parked on University Avenue, it was't too hard to find.  The museum was excellent in showing the history, culture, and nature of the region.
We set off to the Pioneer Park.  They have relocated lots of historic cabins and buildings to a small park near the river.  Vendors can rent them and there are shops and restaurants throughout.  There is a museum, a train, a gold mining camp, and of course an aircraft museum.  You can guess where Bill went first.

We had some ice cream, took a train ride, and bought a sticker for the trailer.
Cathy cooked up some stir fry and we were worn out>
I didn't take many pictures today.  I have shared so many scenery pictures for the last three weeks I thought I would share some people pictures.
